Francis A. Connor

Francis Alexander Connor, 88, of Mullica Hill, NJ, formerly of Woodbury, NJ, passed away on September 9, 2026, after suffering from a stage 4 wound following a serious infection.

Legacy

Born on November 25, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, Francis (Frank) attended St. Joseph’s University, majoring in Industrial Management and Theology. He worked in management and sales until his retirement. Frank was also an acting student for many years, studying and performing at the Walnut Street Threatre in Philadelphia.

Family

He met and married his beautiful wife, the late Kathleen Connor (Powell) and raised a family, primarily in Woodbury, NJ. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son who loved golf, Philadelphia sports (especially the Eagles), reading, travel, and his family. He especially loved celebrating Halloween with his children and grandchildren. He was very loved. He will be remembered for his incredible compassion, kindness, and generosity, even with strangers. Frank was a dedicated Catholic and believed strongly in the power of prayer, especially the rosary. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Connor and grandson, Charles Kimball; daughter Noelle Connor, Esquire; and daughter, Cynthia LaRocca (Connor) and grandchildren, Hannah, Connor and Olivia LaRocca.

Internment

Viewing will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Ceremony at 11:00am. Internment at New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 515 West Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
