Jeff
Oct 16, 1967 — Oct 25, 2026
Jeffrey William Freas, 59, formerly of Wenonah, New Jersey, passed away on October 25, 2026. He was born on October 16, 1967, in Wilmington, Delaware, just five minutes before his twin sister, Janis, made her arrival.
Jeff was born and raised in Wenonah, where he lived until young adulthood. It was there that he developed his skills as an exceptional backhoe operator and mechanic, talents that would become a part of who he was. Working with his cousin, he quickly became the e concrete finisher. Spending every summer in Ocean City, N.J., he found time be part of his family making memories, he’d say ”NOICEEEE”.
Jeff’s life was full of laughter. He had a special gift for turning someone’s worst day around with his quick wit and perfectly timed one-liners. No matter the circumstances, Jeff had a way of making people laugh when they needed it most.
He treasured being an uncle to Marcus and Kristin, and having them in his life gave him a warm and meaningful sense of family. Though he never married, Jeff found joy in the people and passions that made his life uniquely his own.
A devoted Camaro enthusiast, Jeff could often be seen racing down Front Street in his beloved car. He enjoyed fishing and the peace and solitude it brought, listening to his music LOUD, and watching sitcoms. His favorite movie was Forrest Gump, a fitting favorite for someone who appreciated life's humor and unexpected turns.
Along his journey through life, Jeff formed many meaningful friendships and touched the lives of so many people he met along the way. The connections he made, the experiences he shared, and the laughter he brought to others became an important part of his story. He found friendship, fellowship, and a sense of belonging in the people who walked alongside him, leaving behind memories and bonds that will not be forgotten.
Above all, Jeff loved being a twin. The bond he shared with his sister, Janis, was a special part of his life and his story.
Jeffrey is predeceased by his father, William F. and mother Barbara A. Freas.
He is survived by his twin sister, Janis Freas, and brother Kevin Freas (Mahz); nephew Marcus A. Freas; niece, Kristin A. Quigley (Kyle); Uncle Robert Freas (Joyce) and Aunt Jane; cousins, Timothy Freas (Cathy), Tara Mass, and Todd Freas( Heather).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 5:30 pm at Schileen's Pub, Above the bar, 32 Delsea Drive, Westville NJ 08093.
