Joseph Reilly
Mar 22, 1969 — Sep 29, 2026
Joseph Reilly, age 57, of West Deptford, NJ formally of Deptford passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2026.
Dear son of the late William and Josephine (nee Barbuscia). Joe will be deeply missed by his brother William Reilly (Janice), his sister Marie Rorick (Richard), his nephew William Reilly (Deirdre); his niece, Brittany Weber (Michael); his great-nephew Declan Reilly; his great-nieces Ailish Reilly, Claire Weber, and several other nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his loyal and beloved canine companion, Luna.
Joe graduated from Deptford High School and then went on to graduate from Capella University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He spent his entire career with Xerox Inc., started employment with the company shortly after graduating high school. Over the years, he built a long and dedicated career, ultimately retiring in 2025 as a System Analyst.
While Joe was devoted to his work, his true passions were found outside of it. He had a deep love for nature and photography. In his younger years he spent his free time hiking, camping, repelling, caving, and white water rafting. In his later years he could often be found walking Luna in beautiful places with a camera in hand. He had a special gift for finding beauty in the world around him and capturing it in his photographs. Most importantly, he loved photographing the people he cared for and creating treasured memories for his family to hold onto.
Joe was a quiet presence who found happiness in the simple things - time spent outdoors, photographing a beautiful view, a walk with Luna, watching soccer, and moments with his family. His photographs will remain a lasting reminder of the way he saw the world and the people he loved. His memory will live on through the images he left behind and in the hearts of the family he loved so dearly.
May he rest peacefully.Â
