Thomas S. Litle, Sr.

Thomas Shaw Litle, Sr., 88, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with his loving family on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Legacy

He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. He loved to be around his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force. He was very active in the Boy Scouts, enjoyed the Gloucester County Amateur Radio Club for many years, and snorkeling and scuba diving. He worked for the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for many years.

Family

He is the beloved husband of 66 years to Catharine R. Litle (nee Cooper). Dear father of Deborah Wolf (William), Edward Litle (Hilda), Jean Rose (George), Jackie Dewitt (Harry). late Thomas Shaw Litle, Jr. and Francis Litle (Patrice). Adored grandfather of Meggan, Jacqueline, Tanya, Pedro, Natasha, Laura, Douglas, Veronica, Samantha, Janet, Harry, Jr., Ryan, Branden, Graham, and Delaney. Treasured great grandfather of Charlotte, Luke, Wesley, Ellie, Jurni, Tobias, Myles, and Natalie. Predeceased by his parents Laura and Harry Litle and brother Harry. He will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday April 16th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in The McGuinness Funeral Home (Woodbury Location) 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 11:00AM . Interment with military honors to follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, New Jersey.
