Kim Marie Ritivoy

Kim Marie Ritivoy, age 64, passed away peacefully after a brave, inspiring, decade-long fight against cancer on October 29th, 2026 in Arizona. Surrounded by a large, loving family, her life was defined by planting seeds of faith, love and kindness in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born in Rochester, Michigan, Kim was one of seven children. She met her husband Rick, of 42 years there and was blessed with four children Brianna, Cyrell, Jillian and Alexander - their only son - who tragically passed away the day after birth but is now happily reunited with his mother. Kim and Rick moved to Arizona in 2010, faithfully attending Scottsdale Bible Church.

Kim was the definition of a loving Grandmother to John and Brianna’s three daughters Mia, Nora and Ava. She saw her grandchildren every Tuesday, and usually also on the weekends for swimming, games, homemade cookies, stories, and love beyond measure. Kim and Rick took the children to the aquarium and train park often, building warm memories that they would carry in their hearts forever.

Kim's family is so proud of how she never blamed God for her cancer but kept her faith in Jesus. She prayed that the rest of us be given the strength to be strong. Kim and Rick studied scripture daily, listening to and viewing thousands of sermons.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Ritivoy; children: Brianna (John) Ridgley, Cyrell Ritivoy, and Jillian Ritivoy; siblings: Sue (Carl) Lill, Rose (Randy) Berry, Michelle Strassberg, and Charlene (Kevin) Waldorf. Kim’s grandchildren: Mia, Nora, and Ava Ridgley.
