Robert J Hockin

Robert J. Hockin, know to many as "Odin", passed away on November 26, 2025 at 6:40 a.m., at Desert Blossom Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mesa, Arizona, after losing his battle with bladder cancer. 

Robert was a familiar and respected presence at Kitty's Bar, where he spent most of his days playing the game he loved - pool - and sharing time with friends who became his family. The pool table was where he felt most at home and where he was happiest. 

He leaves behind the people who loved him and knew him best, and a close community of friends at Kitty's Bar who stood by him until illness kept him away. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Gidget, who was truly the center of his world. 

Robert will be remembered every time a cue is chalked, a rack is broken, and friend gather for a good game.
