Rolly Ray Reed, 67 passed away in his home in San Tan Valley on March 22, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Bridgett, his two children, Jennifer and Rolly, and his three stepchildren, Saturn, Lauralyn and Jeremiah, six grandkids and two sisters. Rolly was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna, brother, Eddie and his parents.
Born in Colorado Springs, CO to parents Wayne and Verlea Reed, Rolly graduated from Manitou Springs High School. In 1980, he moved to Arizona. He spent most of his career working for the State of Arizona, DPS assisting the State Troopers with evidence. He also assisted with DUI events. He retired in 2020.
Rolly was such a good father. He loved being involved with all the sports his kids were in while in school. They always came first no matter what and he was always there for them.
Rolly liked football and especially the Denver Broncos. He hosted many Super bowl parties and seldom missed a Broncos game. He also liked NASCAR and cooking. Those two went hand in hand at the many NASCAR races he attended.
He was a prankster. He loved scarying people and playing practical jokes – even at work. He was the life of the party so much fun to be around. His laughter was contagious. He also was the best friend anyone could have. He would do anything for someone who needed his help.
Rolly will be remembered for his love of his family, his kindness, generosity and his laughter. He will be missed forever.
Memorial Services will be held on April 30, 2026 at 11 AM at Meldrum Mortuary. 52 North McDonald in Mesa.
