Vincent Valerio Fiocco

It is with great sadness that the family of Vincent Valerio Fiocco announces his passing on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona, at the age of 44.

Vincent was born in Mesa, Arizona, on June 9, 1982, and was raised in the Chandler and Gilbert communities. He graduated from Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona, where he received honors and took advantage of additional opportunities offered through the school.

Vincent was a proud United States Army veteran who received an honorable discharge. He served his country and also had a heart for helping others. He was known for being kind, giving, and willing to help those around him. His caring nature extended beyond his friends and family, including helping a disabled veteran.

Vincent worked in several food-service positions throughout his life, with his last position being at Shooters World in Phoenix. He also had a strong creative side and was an artist who enjoyed creating art in many different mediums. Scratchboard was his usual medium, though he enjoyed experimenting with other forms of art and would sometimes create pieces using nothing more than an ink pen. He also enjoyed building guns and had a passion for the craft and creativity involved in his hobbies.

Some of Vincent's happiest moments were spent with the people and animals he loved. He had many friends whose relationships went back as far as grade school. He enjoyed playing PlayStation 4 video games with some of those longtime friends and considered many of his friends to be family. His beloved dogs, Chubs, Lady, and Charity, were also an important part of his life.

Vincent had a close relationship with his grandparents, Josephine and Fred Fiocco Sr., who preceded him in death. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Karen Calvi and Fred Fiocco, their families, his many friends, and his extended family, including Aunt “Bee” Bethanie Reid, Uncle David Reid, and cousins Fiona Reid and Christopher “Chris” Reid, as well as other members of the Fiocco and Calvi family.

Vincent was also a deeply giving person. He expressed his wish to become an organ and tissue donor following his passing. Through Donor Network of Arizona, five different types of tissue were able to be recovered, including eyes, veins, bone, and skin tissue. In this way, Vincent's desire to help others continues beyond his life.

Vincent will be remembered for his creativity, his kindness, his loyalty to his friends and family, his love for his dogs, and his willingness to help others. His life touched many people, and his memory will continue to live on in all those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on October 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Shakespeare Room of the Southeast Regional Library.

A military service and burial at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona will take place at a later date.

Vincent will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
