Dale Edward McLouth

Dale Edward McLouth, 90, entered into eternity with our Lord on July 21, 2026, at Hope Village in Canby, Oregon. He was born in New Era, Michigan on June 13,1936 to Edward and Lucille (Draft) McLouth.

Dale graduated from Whitehall High School in 1954. He was employed by Howmet Corporation in Whitehall, Michigan and later, LaPorte, Indiana. In 1977, he moved to the Portland, Oregon area where he was a Manufacturing Engineer at Precision Castparts Corporation, retiring in 2006. Dale also farmed when he lived in Michigan and continued that love in Oregon, raising cattle, until shortly before his death. He was mayor of Greenhorn, Oregon from 2012 – 2020.

Dale loved his Lord and Savior, his family, farming, and hunting. He lived in Molalla, Oregon and was a member of Foothills Community Church where he spent many hours in loving service of Christ and His church.

Dale’s kindness and concern for others will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Joy, daughters Kathy (Eric) Vimont and Linda McLouth, stepchildren Christian Bushong and Carrie Holder, grandchildren Megan Davis, Benjamin Lombard, Jacob Vimont, Hannah (John) Langowski, Blake McLouth, Cameron, and one brother, Gordon McLouth, nieces and nephews, first wife and mother of his children Betty (Alfredson) White, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Joyce Brooks, brother Merle and his son, Daniel.

A graveside service will be held at Adams Cemetery, Molalla, Oregon on Thursday, July 30th, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time. Arrangements are by Molalla Funeral Chapel.
