Frank Victor Nickelson

Frank Victor Nickelson, 51, better known as Nick, passed away, peacefully, on April 29th, 2026, in his hometown of Eugene.

He was a beloved brother, husband, father, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, friend & mentor.

For the past 10 years Nick worked for a company he loved and volunteered with the Sponsors Mentorship Program; a leader in both. He took the responsibility of mentoring seriously and wanted to make a difference. As many can attest, “He was just a good guy”.

If Nick loved you he did so fiercely and unconditionally. Having him on your team meant support and tough love; a hand up, not a hand out. He believed everyone had the ability to rise above adversity and helped where he could.

This is a shocking loss. He will be deeply missed by many. Once we gather our thoughts a celebration of life will be planned and details will be made available. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Sponsors Mentorship Program. If you have already sent flowers or cards, thank you. The love and support we have received on Nick’s behalf has been overwhelming in the kindest way. The love is felt and appreciated.
