John Peter Munson

John P. Munson, his family and many friends called him Jack, passed on 6/17/2026 of age-related issues.

He was born on April 9, 1935, in Rd Wing, Minnesota, to Elmer and Helen (Peterson) Munson. His siter was in 1929 and preceded him in death. John attended a one-room school in 1953. He attended the University of Colorado for two years and spent two years in the Army before receiving his degree from the University of Minnesota in 1959.

John's career in administration began with the Methodist Hospital corporation in Minneapolis and continued with the Health Services Administration in Los Angeles, California. Upon retiring, he moved to Eugene, Oregon, and spent many enjoyable hours volunteering for several organizations.

John's niece, Lynn Wagner, and nephew, Bradley Jostock, were very important in his life. His ashes will be placed next to those of his sister and brother-in-law, in Spokane, WA.
