Oliver James Peck

Dec 15, 1982 — Oct 29, 2026

Oliver Peck, 43, of Eugene, Oregon, died at home on October 29, 2026. He was born in Eugene to his parents Thomas and Kennette Peck (now of Roseburg). Oliver married Jessica Schneider of Albany on July 16, 2006, They made their home in Eugene where their blended family included their children Adrianna Schneider, Sebastian Schneider, and Dillon Dickson together with Abigail Sprague.

As a child, Oliver was fascinated with birds and fancy cars. He spent many hours studying and drawing birds and insisted his family go to every bird sanctuary in the Yorkshire Dales during their time in England. His realistic bird imitation on the California beach greatly amused his late grandparents, Bud and Carolyn Peck. Lately, he volunteered with the Exotic Bird Rescue of Oregon with Jessica.

Another love for Oliver was classical music, especially the piano. He and his sister Ashley Peck (of Portland) studied the piano and enjoyed playing their own version of Name That Tune, which always had a Chopin piece included.

Cars edged out the birds for his career choice. He followed his uncles, Tony Hull (now of Sutherlin) and Kevin Hull (now of Phoenix, Arizona) into the car business. He was grateful to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from his Uncle Tony.

Oliver loved to gather with friends and family where his sense of humor and energy always filled the room. Holidays never went by without a pinochle tournament with his Gram and Papa, Karen and Kenneth Hull (of Roseburg), whom he adored.

Oliver and Jessica loved having adventures. Whether they were traveling to the Garden of Eden in Maui, the Butchart Gardens in Victoria or their own backyard garden, they just enjoyed being together.

Other family members surviving Oliver are his aunts and uncle, Lynn Pence, Nancy Kennedy, Cheryl Blasi, and David Peck, together with their spouses and Oliver’s many cousins.

We will miss our funny, charming, ornery, generous, and big-hearted Oliver.
