Richard Louis Clark

Richard Louis “Dick” Clark passed away November 26, 2025, at the age of 87, peacefully and surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Lola Marion Clark and his first wife Donna.  Dick is survived by his wife, Barbara, three sons, Dennis (Leanne), Dan (Deanna), Doug (Emily), two stepdaughters Jacki Harris, and Kim James (Jeff) 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and sister Judy Guida (Joe).

Dick graduated from St. Mary’s High school in Medford, Oregon in 1956 and received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Oregon College in 1960. While in College he met and married Donna Schulz. Upon graduation he went to work for the Boy Scouts of America working in several different councils and positions until his retirement after 33 years. He also directed 5 National Jamboree shows and served on many staffs for both Top Hands and National meetings. Dick was a member of Delta Rotary for over 40 years where he held many committee positions and served as President. Dick was also a member of the Elks for 50 years.

After retirement he formed his own show production company – Creative Direction.  He worked with many companies producing shows in Oregon, Washington and California.

In 2013 Dick reconnected with a longtime family friend, Barbara, and they began their 13 years of marriage. Dick had a great love for motor home travel and was ready to start a new adventure at a moments notice, especially to the Oregon Coast or many camping sites along the McKenzie River. He and Barbara traveled to 35 states and took several European vacations.
