Auden Allen Schaller

Jan 2, 2008 — Jul 29, 2026

Auden Allen Schaller of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2026, leaving behind a community of family, friends, teammates, and coworkers who loved him deeply. Auden was born January 2, 2008 in Janesville to Aaron Schaller and Christine Schulz, along with his twin brother Ayden. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Whitewater and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School on June 7, 2026. Auden worked along side his dad at the The Flooring Company, LLC and after graduation began working with his stepdad at Wandel Contractors, Inc., where he was looking forward to expanding his knowledge and skills within the union.

A gifted athlete, Auden was an all-conference soccer player and a proud member of the Fort Atkinson High School bowling team. He also played for JC United Soccer Club, where he became known not only for his talent on the field, but for his leadership, sportsmanship, and the way he lifted people up around him. His teammates and coaches remember him as someone who played with heart, encouraged others, and made the game better simply by being part of it.

Auden was a hard worker in every sense. He was dedicated, reliable and always ready to give his best. But even more than his accomplishments, it was his kindness that defined him. He was caring, thoughtful and deeply loyal to those he loved - family and friends alike. His faith was important to him and guided him each and every day. His family and friends will forever remember his gentle nature, his easy smile, and the way he made others feel valued and supported. Through his gift of organ donation, he will live on through others.

He leaves behind his parents, Christine (Jeff Wellnitz) Schulz and Aaron (Tiffany Garnica) Schaller, his brothers Ashton and Ayden, his half-brother Adriel, his grandparents Sue Ann Schulz, Kathleen Newkirk, and Beverly Hanson. His uncles Derrick (Stephanie) Schulz, Dale Clavey, Steve (Julie) Wellnitz, and Aunt Tera Lehman along with many cousins. His girlfriend Ryne Washa held a special place in his life and shared deeply in his joy.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Glen Schulz, great grandmothers Lorraine Pfeifer and Mildred Haban.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 S. High St., Fort Atkinson from 10:00 am until 12:45 pm.

A funeral service in remembrance of Auden will be held at the church at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater, WI.

All who knew Auden are invited to gather, share stories and honor the remarkable young man he was.
