Jessie Joann Larsen

Jessie Joann Larsen, 90, of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 12, 2026. Jessie was born to Carl and Jessie Huffman on March 23, 1936, in Springfield, IL.

Jessie was an avid bowler, skeet shooter, and had a love for arts and crafts. She made beautiful Christmas stockings and tree skirts for family and friends, gifts that will be treasured for years to come. There was never a day that Jessie wasn’t doing something she loved. She especially enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing from her private dock.

On May 21, 1977, Jessie married Leonard Larsen, blending her three daughters and son with his two daughters into one family. Shortly after they married, they moved to Southern California where they spent 20 years before returning to make their forever home in Whitewater.

Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Larsen, her parents Carl and Jessie Huffman, sisters Carolyn Brown, Madeline Huffman, brother Roy Huffman, son Larry Riley and daughter Tammy Schulte.

She is survived by sisters Dianne (Bob) Judd and Bonnie (Don) Fuhrman, daughters Pam (John Nicks, Karen Riley, Sheri (Fred) Esslinger and Carla (Rich) Murray as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.
