Michelle Lynn Mitchell

Michelle Lynn Mitchell, March 4, 1978 - August 2, 2026.

"Micarooni" as her friends and family lovingly called her, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly.

Mickey was funny, silly, caring and strong. She had a love of the outdoors, diamond art, spending time with family, especially her dad Roger and older sister Deanna.

Michelle also loved going to watch the T.O.D's at Jefferson Raceway to cheer on her niece Liz. Michelle will be remembered for her goofiness and big heart. She was the "sass" in the family. She fought many obstacles in life and may have made questionable choices at times, but she always found a way to overcome.

Michelle is survived by a daughter, Abigayle; son Riley; father, Roger; sisters, Deanna (Scott) and LaVonne (Paul); godmother, Pam; nieces, nephews, and an adopted brother Zach.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother Joyce; grandparents, Mary, Erastus, LaVonne, and Lloyd as well as aunts and uncles.

Nitardy Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Donations can be made to Nitardy to help offset funeral costs as Michelle did not have life insurance.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Sunday August 16th at 151 N Oak Street Whitewater Wis. With a cook out to follow. Family asks you to bring a chair and a dish to pass. As well as stories to share.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater.
