Sandra Kay Footit

Sandra Kay Footit, 82, moved on to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends.

Sandra was born on October 25, 1943, in Whitewater, WI, the daughter of Harold and Bernice (Kreger) Bittner.

Sandra married Jerry Footit on July 13, 1963. She was self-employed for 26 years as an in-home childcare provider in Whitewater, until her retirement.

Sandra had a love for ceramics, painting, Hallmark movies, “The Waltons”, Pepsi and most likely has earned several stocks in the Pepsi company. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Sandra is survived by her husband Jerry Footit, her son Timothy J. Footit of Whitewater, daughters Kimberly L (Gary) Ramsden of Fort Atkinson, Wendi S. (Henry) Gobel of Cambridge, eight grandchildren; Desirae, Ryan, Kailee, Chelsea, Adam, Dallas, Emily and Benjamin, along with eleven great grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Tami C. (Ronald) Schultz of Whitewater, and her sisters Barbara Jacobson and Bonnie Boelkow.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Rainbow Hospice.

Visitation to be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 Newcomb Street, Whitewater, WI 53190, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11:30 AM, with Pastor Joseph O'Donnell of First English Lutheran Church officiating. Interment Richmond Cemetery.
