Uniqua "Unika" Vaughn

In Loving Memory of Unika Naomi-Kirsten Vaughn
August 5, 1992 – July 21, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Unika Naomi Vaughn, who left this world on July 21, 2026, at the age of 33.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a longtime resident of Whitewater, Wisconsin, Unika was a bright light whose beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and loving heart touched everyone who knew her. She had a vibrant spirit and found joy in life’s simple moments. Whether she was listening to music, dancing, creating TikToks, or spending sunny days at the beach with her family, Unika embraced life with enthusiasm, kindness, and love.
From a young age, Unika had a passion for gymnastics, and she carried that same energy and grace throughout her life. Her favorite color was pink, a color that reflected her vibrant personality and loving spirit.
Above all, Unika treasured being a mother. Some of her happiest moments were spent doing crafts, laughing, and making memories with her beloved son, Mason. Their bond was filled with unconditional love and countless cherished moments. She also adored her faithful dog, Karma, who brought her comfort and companionship.
Unika faced struggles throughout her life with courage. While addiction ultimately claimed her life, it never defined who she was. Those who loved her will remember her for her generous heart, her joyful spirit, and the deep love she had for her family and friends.
Unika is lovingly survived by her mother, Elizabeth Vaughn; her father, Justin Vaughn; her brother, Jaren Vaughn; her cherished son, Mason Vaughn; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Though her time with us was far too short, Unika’s love, laughter, and free spirit will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the love she shared so generously.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Unika’s life during a visitation and memorial service on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Nitardy Funeral Home in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
In honor of Unika’s favorite color, the family kindly asks those attending to wear black with a pop of pink as a celebration of her beautiful life and vibrant spirit.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts. 💕
