Charles Thomas Johnson

Charles Thomas Johnson, 75, of Berthoud, passed away on May 18, 2026.

Charles was born to Mary (Henry) Johnson Floyd W. Johnson Jr. in Shenandoah, Iowa. He spent many years as the owner and operator of Floyd’s Sandwichs in Loveland. He was known for his hard work, dedication to his business, and the relationships he built with customers and friends over the years.

Charles is survived by: his wife Pamela Johnson, son James C. Johnson, daughter Heather Hammond, granddaughter Samantha Hammond, grandson Jacob Hammond, sisters Eva (Dean) Wallace and Kathy (Terry) Sunderland and many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by: mother Mary Frances (Henry) Johnson , father Floyd W. Johnson Jr. and sister-in-law Donna (Oswandel) Moore.

A celebration of Charles’s life will be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
