Jackie (Jack) Lee Davey, 76, of Johnstown, CO, passed away on April 23, 2026 at UC Health Medical Center of the Rockies.

He was born on January 3, 1950 in Louisburg, KS to Donald Lee Davey and Norma Davey (nee Mason).

Jack is survived by his wife Valarie Jill Davey, his children Andrew (Kenna), Misty (Ty) and Jennie (Wyatt). Grandchildren Connor, Parker, Abigail, Ragan, Sarah, Ryan and Evan. Great-grandchildren Ridley, Haven, Pax and Elaine.

He attended Pittsburg State University and went on to work as a mechanical engineer, most notably at Marley for over 30 years. This work took him overseas living in Singapore. He was an artist and an author. Known for his love of storytelling, art, world travels, kite flying and eclectic taste in music like Johnny Horton, Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 19th at 2pm at Fox Hall 201 S Broadway St, Louisburg, KS 66053. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Nelson Atkins Art Museum and American Stroke Association.
