Jelean Nelson

Jelean Nelson, age 86, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, at Good Samaritan Assisted Living in Windsor, Colorado.

She was born on October 7, 1938, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Mildred and Jesse Tucker. Jelean grew up in Arkansas and later made California her home for much of her life. She was an active and beloved member of the Lake Arrowhead, California community, where she lived with her husband, Richard Nelson. Since 2001, Jelean had made Colorado her residence.

She is survived by her two daughters, Monda Griffin and Cindy Siebert, and her grandchildren, Christian Griffin, Emma Silva, and Mia Siebert.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Good Samaritan at Water Valley for the loving care provided over the last five years, as well as to the dedicated hospice staff who supported her in her final days.

Her daughters will hold a private burial in California at a later date.
