Marta Jo Carmack

Marta Carmack, age 70, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026 after a battle with cancer.Marta was born in Waco, Texas, to Norma Clark and Kenneth Bruce Clark. She grew up in Grants, New Mexico, but called Parker, Colorado home for the majority of her life. She was raised with a strong work ethic and a caring spirit that would define her life. She pursued her passion for animals by earning a degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University.Marta dedicated over 40 years of her career to Target, where she was known for her reliability and kindness. In addition to her long retail career, she was also a proud owner and operator of a Curves for women’s fitness center, where she inspired and supported many women in their health and wellness journeys.Above all, Marta was a devoted mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her beloved sons, Garrett Carmack (Kristi) and Kyle Carmack; (Kendra) her brother, Derek Clark (Maria); and her sister, Tammy Clark (Andy Allerman) and her grandchildren Cortland, Landon, Hadley, Cooper, and Cora. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma Clark and Kenneth Bruce Clark, and her sisters, Kelly Mitchell and Cindy Clark.Marta will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished.A service to celebrate Marta’s life will be held on April 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the Lantern House in Parker, Colorado.Marta’s memory will forever be held close in the hearts of her family and friends
