Octevious Avonte Meliek Presbury
Sep 11, 1998 — Jul 30, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Octevious Avonte Meliek Presbury, who entered into eternal rest on July 30, 2026, in Greeley, Colorado, at the age of 27. Born on September 11, 1998, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Octevious was the beloved son of Latisha Presbury.
Octevious was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and loyal friend. He lived a life rooted in love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to his family. To know him was to know kindness. He had a smile that could brighten any room, a generous heart that welcomed everyone, and a quiet strength that inspired those around him. His willingness to help others and his genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him.
Above all else, Octevious’s greatest joy was being a father to his three beautiful children. They were the center of his world and his proudest accomplishment. Every sacrifice he made and every dream he pursued was driven by his love for them. His legacy will forever live on through his children and through the countless lives he touched with his love, compassion, and generosity.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Latisha Presbury; his beloved wife; his three cherished children; his siblings; grandparents; extended family; and many dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and love.
He was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandparents, Lawrence and Frances Presbury; his uncle, Brian Presbury Sr.; and his cousin, Brian Presbury Jr. Their love and memories remain forever woven into the story of his life and will always be treasured by those who knew them.
To His Beloved Children
Your daddy loved you more than words could ever express. You were his greatest purpose, his proudest accomplishment, and the greatest blessing of his life. Every sacrifice he made and every dream he held was rooted in his love for you.
Although he is no longer here to hold your hands, celebrate your milestones, or tell you how proud he is, his love has never left you. It lives on in your smiles, your laughter, your strength, and the kindness you carry within your hearts. As you grow, never question how deeply you were loved. Carry your father’s love with you every day, let it give you courage when life feels difficult, and know that through your family, his stories, his values, and his memory will always remain close.
Whenever you miss him, look to the sky, remember his smile, and know that a father’s love never ends.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever your Daddy.
A memorial service celebrating Octevious’s life will be held on August 15th from 1-3 P.M at Element Church 600 E Carlson St #201 Cheyenne, WY 82009
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love, encouragement, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your compassion and kindness have brought comfort and strength and will never be forgotten.
