Patricia Ann Peters

Patricia “Pat” Ann (Maiwurm) Peters, 83, of Greeley, CO passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026.

Pat was born November 6, 1942, in Davenport, IA to Howard and Carolyn (Fuller) Maiwurm. She was the oldest of five children. Pat grew up in Minneapolis, MN and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1960. She married Larry H Peters on February 19, 1966, in Minneapolis. Their family relocated to Fort Collins, CO in 1974. In 2004, they moved to Greeley to be closer to family.

Pat was a homemaker who enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, quilting, gardening, cake decorating, toll painting, antique collecting and cheering for her favorite sports teams. She spent many years volunteering in her children’s classrooms, as a Camp Fire Girls leader and at the Poudre Valley Hospital thrift shop.

She is survived by her husband, Larry of Greeley. Daughter Stefanie (Martin) DeBey of Greeley. Son Jason (Michelle) Peters of Kaneohe, HI. Brothers Ray Maiwurm of West Palm Beach, FL and Roy (Anna) Maiwurm of Blaine, MN. Sister Cynthia (Daniel) Koons of Riverton, MN. Two grandsons Nicholas and Nathan DeBey of Greeley, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Susan Stratton.
