Angel "Pupi" Muñiz

Angel “Pupi” Muñiz, 54, of Wilton Manors, Florida, passed away on August 25, 2026. He was born on February 16, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Florida in 2012. Angel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and family man who was a member of the Catholic faith.

Angel loved playing dominoes, rapping, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed being around the people he loved and making memories together.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Muñiz. Angel is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Mellisa Almonte; father, Angel “Helo” Muñiz; sons, Marcus Muñiz and Angel Luis Muñiz Jr.; daughters, Martina Muñiz and Blanca “Nina” Muñiz; brothers, Carlos Muñiz, Jose Muñiz, and Alex Muñiz; sisters, Mildred Navarro, Masiyah Mercado, Damaries Kallinicos, Gloria Torres, and Ivellise “Lily” Muñiz; and his grandchildren and his Nieces and Nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. Angel’s final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
