Deena Loy Hay

Deena Loy Hay, 70, a lifelong resident of Haines City, Florida, passed away on August 7, 2026. She was born on December 13, 1955, in Winter Haven, Florida, to Hugh John and Norma Lee Belisle Tidwell. Deena worked for Disney for more than 20 years in data maintenance. She was of the Baptist faith.

Deena enjoyed reading and gardening. She was known for being outspoken and never hesitating to speak her mind. She had a great love for animals and enjoyed the companionship they brought into her life.

Deena was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Norma Tidwell. Deena leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 48 years, Lee Hay; sons, Russell Hay and wife, Katie Beth, and Logan Hay; sister, Jeri Pritchard; grandchildren, Alison Hay, Russell Hay Jr., Taylor Hay, and McCormick Hay; and nephew, John Pritchard.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to a charity of your choice in Deena’s memory.
