Elma "Nick" Willis

Elma “Nick” Willis, 100, of Davenport, Florida, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales. She was born on June 12, 1926, in Moultrie, Georgia, to Andrew Daniel and Bessie Lenona Barber Bryant. Elma worked in the citrus industry and spent her life as a seamstress. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Loughman, Florida.

Elma enjoyed sewing, baking cakes, crafting, and gardening. She was known for being kind, loving, and giving, and she never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John T. Willis; her granddaughter, Chrissy Creech; her sister, Levenia Glover; and grandson in laws, Greg Creech and Clint Carbonneau. Elma leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, John (Terressa) Willis of Auburndale, Florida, and Lenona Hittle of Davenport, Florida; her grandchildren, Vickie Carbonneau, Kevin Willis, and Kerri (Stuart) Caudill; her great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Jackson, Matthew, Bryan, and Rachel; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Her final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
