Farren Douglas "Doug" Broadstreet, III

December 30, 1982 — June 8, 2026

Farren Douglas "Doug" Broadstreet III, 43, of Lake Alfred, Florida, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 30, 1982, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Farren Douglas Broadstreet Jr. and Maria Edith Salas Aguilar Broadstreet. Doug worked in the automotive industry for 14 years as an Assistant Service Manager. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Doug had a passion for sports and enjoyed both playing and watching a variety of games. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and trading cards, with collections that included football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer cards. He loved trying new foods, dancing, and seeking out new adventures. More than anything, Doug treasured the time he spent with his children, his family, and his devoted wife. Though often reserved when first meeting people, those closest to him knew him as someone who loved to talk, especially at home. His sharp wit, unique sense of humor, loyalty, and caring heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Doug is survived by his parents, Doug and Edith Broadstreet; his beloved wife, Shanna Broadstreet; his son, Jackson Douglas Broadstreet; his daughters, Annaleigh Rosa Broadstreet and Alyse Marie Broadstreet; and his sister, Cynthia Michelle Arredondo and her husband, Elliot, of Corpus Christi, Texas. His memory will also be cherished by many relatives and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and friendship. His presence will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Haines City, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Farren's honor to the ALS Association or to his gofundme.
