Geran Joel Rodriguez

December 26, 1994 — April 25, 2026

Geran Joel Rodriguez, age 31, of Haines City, Florida, passed away on April 25, 2026. He was born on December 26, 1994, in Long Island, New York, to his loving parents, Joel Rodriguez and Milly Gutierrez. In 2015, Geran made Haines City his home after relocating from Long Island.

Geran dedicated six years working side by side with his parents as an auto body technician at JRod Auto Body & Resto LLC. He was a man of Christian faith, whose life reflected love, compassion, and strong family values.

Geran had a passion for life and enjoyed playing basketball, jet skiing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his Dodge Ram. He was also a fan of watching WWE. Known as “the best uncle ever,” Geran deeply loved his siblings, his nieces and nephews, and his beloved fur babies, Biggy and Oso.

He will be remembered for his humor, playful spirit, respectfulness, and kind heart. Geran was a deeply sentimental and understanding soul—never afraid to speak his mind, yet always sensitive to the feelings of others. He was profoundly family-oriented and took great pride in being a devoted son and brother, affectionately known as a proud mama’s boy and sister’s boy.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Milagros Torres Torres; paternal grandmother, Ines Padilla Cortez; and his uncle, Jose Antonio Rodriguez Padilla. Geran leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Joel Rodriguez Padilla and Milly Gutierrez Torres; his brother, Giovanni Joel Rodriguez and his partner, Hailey Pace, along with their children, Luchi, Enzo, and Rosie of West Haven, Connecticut; his beloved primo hermano, Alfredo Y. Lopez of Hamden, Connecticut; and his sister, Joemilly I. Rodriguez and her husband, Juan Gallego, along with their children, JJ, Mila, and Geran Camilo (“Baby G”) of Haines City, Florida. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Antonio Rodriguez Vega of West Haven, Connecticut; his maternal grandfather, Hector Gonzalez of Long Island, New York; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a community that will deeply miss him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a service at 6:00 p.m. A second visitation will take place on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., both at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida.
