Jerry A Costello

Jerry A. Costello, 85, of Haines City, FL, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 23, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN, to John Richard and Maude Margaret Jones Costello. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army, from which he was honorably discharged. After his service, Jerry worked as an aeronautical engineer for more than 25 years, moved to Florida  in 1982, and continue working until his retirement in 2002 . He was a devoted member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Jerry had a passion for bowling, softball, watching horse racing, and playing cards. He was known for his loving and supportive nature, his sense of humor, and his ability to light up a room. His family meant everything to him, and spending time with them brought him great joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maude Costello, and three siblings. Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara A. Costello; children, Dawn Costello, Vicki (Mark) Blumke, Tony Costello, and Kimberly (Richard) Hicks; six grandchildren, Rachel, Amanda, Brooke, Jay, Shawn, and Courtney; and six great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, FL.
