Jose Quezada

Born in Santiago, Chile,  Jose, Joe or Pepe as we all knew him, was the baby of Ana Morales G.  and Jose Quezada.  He graduated from Liceo 14 And became a lifelong aficionado of the Chilean soccer club, Colo Colo.

He came to the USA in 1982 to visit his brother and pursue his love of music and DJing. He arrived to Newark NJ, USA to connect with his brother, but as fate would have it, his brother was out of town and Joe was given a tour that led him to his future wife and soul mate, Juli. Joe & Juli married in 1983 and grew their family in NJ.

Joe held many jobs in his lifetime from roofer, to apprentice to foreman in the union.  He was in charge of many special projects but the two that held the most significance to him  were the painting of the new NY Giants Stadium and Census Bureau in DC.

Because of a serious accident in 2011 Joe and Juli moved to Florida where he remained until his untimely death. He’s predeceased by his brother Luis and parents Ana and Jose. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Juli, their children Melissa (Jonathan), Joe (Kasha), 3 other children, Anel, Jose Patricio and Jose Ignacio, his 2 sisters, Sonia (Johnny), and Mirtha (Sergio), over a dozen nieces & nephews & 5 grandchildren who he absolutely adored.

Nacido en Santiago, Chile, Joe, Joe o Pepe como todos lo conocíamos, era el hijo de Ana Morales G. y José Quezada. Se graduó en el Liceo 14 y se convirtió en un aficionado de toda la vida al club de fútbol chileno Colo Colo.

Vino a Estados Unidos en 1982 para visitar a su hermano y dedicarse a su amor por la música y el DJing. Llegó a Newark, Nueva Jersey, EE. UU., para conectar con su hermano, pero como el destino quiso, su hermano estaba fuera de la ciudad y Joe recibió una visita guiada que le llevó a su futura esposa y alma gemela, Juli. Joe y Juli se casaron en 1983 y ampliaron su familia en Nueva Jersey.

Joe tuvo muchos trabajos a lo largo de su vida, desde techador hasta aprendiz y capataz en el sindicato. Estuvo a cargo de muchos proyectos especiales, pero los dos que más le importaron fueron la pintura del nuevo NY Giants Stadium and Census Bureau en DC.

Debido a un grave accidente en 2011, Joe y Juli se mudaron a Florida, donde permaneció hasta su prematura muerte. Le precedieron en la muerte su hermano Luis y sus padres Ana y Jose. Le sobreviven su querida esposa Juli, con quien esposé desde hace 43 años, sus hijos Melissa (Jonathan), Joe (Kasha), otros 3 hijos, Anel, Jose Patricio y Jose Ignacio, sus dos hermanas, Sonia (Johnny) y Mirtha (Sergio), más de una docena de sobrinos y cinco nietos a quienes adoraba absolutamente.
