Robert L Stout

Robert L. Stout was born September 27, 1940, to Robert H. and Edith Arlene Stout.

He was married to Isabelle (Dunker) Stout.

Bob and Isabelle owned Bob's Drive In (Budges) at the corner of 14th and Hartford St. for 10 years in Lafayette, Indiana, before retiring to Florida.

They had also owned the Silver Grill in downtown Lafayette, Indiana. After moving to Florida, Bob worked at Cypress Gardens in the ice cream shop.

Bob is survived by siblings Don (Judy) Stout, Shirley Hamilton, Larry (Marilyn) Stout, Lynn (Jackie) Stout, Cheryl Perkins, and Gail (Jose) Reyes.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters Norma Stover, Glenda Villegas, brothers Ken Stout and Rex Stout, sister-in-law Lynn Stout, Janet Stout, brother-in-law Don Hamilton, Tony Perkins, Millard Stover, and Pio Villegas.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City.

There will be a second visitation and service on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026 at 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm all at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette, Indiana. His final resting place will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, Indiana.
