Sylvia Annette Marshall

Sylvia Annette Marshall, 67, a lifelong resident of Lake Alfred and Haines City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 15, 1958, in Dade City, Florida, to Arlis E. and Mary Pearl Kemp Newell. Sylvia worked for State Farm for 34 years until her retirement in 2020. She was of the Baptist faith.

Sylvia enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and dogs, watching television, and listening to live music with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlis and Mary Pearl Newell; her loving husband of 31 years, Kenneth E. Marshall; her beloved daughter, Kimberly Marshall Fletcher; and her brother, Wayne Newell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Kristen Marshall Reynolds and her husband, Larry; sisters, Janet Wilkerson and her husband, Jerry, and Nettie Smith; son-in-law, Tony Fletcher; and her grandchildren, Zachary Fletcher, Kaitlyn Reynolds, and Kyle Reynolds.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Her final resting place will be Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
