Wanda Lynne Burnam
Apr 25, 1944 — Oct 12, 2026
Wanda Lynne Burnam, 82, of Davenport Florida passed away peacefully on Monday October 12th, 2026. She passed from a long battle with cancer.
She was born April 25th,1944 in Orlando Florida to William “Bill” Martin and Floyce Dell Nichols. She married Leb Burnam 49 years ago and moved to Davenport Florida. Before her retirement, she worked as a secretary for Power Transport. Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend Wanda Burnam “Nanny” has always been the Sunshine in every one of our lives. She loved her flowers, birds and most of all she loved her family. She was a beautiful soul, known for her strength, kindness, faith, and most of all her love. Something everyone knew and loved her for was her spunk. She was such a light in every room she walked into. She was most definitely a people person; she never met a stranger. She instilled her warmth and love into everyone she met. Her words and wisdom will always linger through those who loved her. Something that made her so significant was her love for music and the stories she told. There was never a dull moment with Wanda; she always knew how to keep a room joyful. Everyone should have a little bit of Wanda in them; she was the epitome of an angel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Greg Burnam and sister Cathy Natali
She is survived by her loving husband, Leb Burnam; children Scotty Feddon (Sandra), Angie Feddon (Jamie Jones), David Johnston (Tammy); grandchildren Kalie Novak (Zach), Tyler Jones (Brooke), Kaitlin Jones, Kayla Jones, Samantha Luciani (Tony), Kyle Johnston, Lindsay Walpole (Dallas), Kelsey Johnston, Brandon Burnam (Kassidy), and Derrick Burnam (Morgan); great-grandchildren, Cade, Trey, Sadie, Lane, Kase, Gunner and Maley; sister Daryl Martin.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Her final resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Davenport, FL.
