William "Bill" Woods

Bill was born October 20 1946, in Lake Wales, Florida, and passed away October 29, 2025, in Plant City, Florida. He grew up in Davenport, and graduated from Haines City High School in Class of 1964. He was a funeral director, property appraiser and airplane pilot in his career. Bill is survived by his wife of 26 years, Patti; his twin sisters, Jody Murphy of Dundee, and Janey Powell of Winter Haven; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Vaughn and Loca Woods, and brothers in law, Bob Murphy and Larry Powell. Graveside service will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, on Tuesday, Nov. 4th, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gulfside Hospice.
