Exantus Louis

Exantus Louis, 86, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at AdventHealth in Lake Wales.

He was born on April 15, 1939, in Drouin, Haiti, under extraordinary circumstances that would mark the beginning of a powerful legacy. Exantus was his mother’s only son, born at the cost of her life. From his very first breath, his life carried both sacrifice and purpose. Though he entered this world as one, he did not leave it that way. Through God’s grace, his life multiplied into generations, thirty-one grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, his legacy now living on in many.

In 1995, he relocated to Winter Haven, Florida, where he continued building a life rooted in faith, resilience, and dedication. A skilled home builder by trade, Exantus did more than construct houses, he built stability, provided for his family, and laid foundations that will stand long after him.

He was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ on occasion he visited the Philadelphia Haitian Baptist Church.

He worshiped the Lord with all his heart and soul and remained grounded in his faith.

Exantus will be remembered as a loving husband, a committed father, and a patriarch whose strength, sacrifices, and values shaped generations.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Jerone Pierre-Ville Louis; his children, Jesumene Louis, Montas Louis, Pastor Banon Exantus Louis, Eddy Louis, Duval Louis, Exana Louis, Souann Louis, Rince Louis, Josette Louis, Madnel Louis, and Madeline Louis;  his sisters, Palmira Louis Blaise,

Neifide Louis Blaise, along with thirty-one grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren who will forever carry his name, his lessons, and his legacy.
