Laura Fischer, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Wesley Chapel, Florida, at the age of 72. Born on January 3, 1953, in Pontiac, Michigan.
Laura spent a significant part of her career as a factory worker at General Motors, where her hard work and dedication were truly commendable. She found great joy in her interests, which included sewing and quilting, often sharing her creations with family and friends. She was a member of Saddlebag Lake Community Church where her faith was strong. Laura was an active member of her local card group, a testament to her love for community and connection. She enjoyed water aerobics and remained active throughout her life, always ready for a new adventure with her beloved dog, Archie, by her side.
Throughout her life, Laura was known for her deep loyalty and honesty, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, giving exceptional care to her “whole life” her husband, Larry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Willie Rose; son Kenneth Robbins; daughter, Pamela Bletl. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Lawrence; sons, Brian Fischer, Thomas (Sharon) Fischer, Lawrence (Cassandra) Fischer; niece, Dawn (Dan) Walker; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on January 1, 2026, from 1-4 PM at the Saddlebag Lake Community Club House in Lake Wales, Florida. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the beautiful life Laura lived. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
