Margaret "Peggy" Black

Margaret "Peggy" Black, beloved sister, wife, aunt, and friend, peacefully left this world on April 12, 2026, at the age of 89 in Lakeland, Florida. Born on March 23, 1937, in Ludlow, Kentucky, Peggy was a woman of unwavering faith and boundless energy.

A passionate horse enthusiast, Peggy found great joy in horseback riding and nurtured a deep appreciation for animals throughout her life. Her ambitious nature drove her to embrace every opportunity with enthusiasm and vigor, reflecting her vibrant personality. Peggy’s faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions, and shaping her relationships. As we celebrate the life of Peggy Black, we remember a woman who embodied love, ambition, and a zest for life. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched, and she leaves behind a legacy of passion for horses, dedication to her family, and an enduring faith that inspires us all.  May her memory be a blessing to us all.

She lived life with a spirit that brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. Peggy was married to Elmer Black, who has since passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love that continues to inspire her family and friends. She is lovingly remembered by her niece, Cathy (Bob) Bertke; and her nephew, Robert Moore, both of whom treasure the moments spent with her.
