Sue Whidden

Susan T. Whidden of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on Oct. 18, 2026 after a brief illness.

Susan was born Sept. 23, 1946 in Island Falls, Me. to Philip and Rhoda Webb Tingley.

She leaves behind her beloved husband David Whidden of 39 years. Her Son Ken Munson of Mississippi,

her Sister Barbie Carlson of Narragansett, RI. She was predeceased by her Sister Judy Mancuso of Bangor Maine. and her Parents.

She also leaves behind many Special friends and cousins.

She worked at Summit Insurance for many years Retiring in 2008. She worked her way up to Director of the Claims Dept.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sue spent many Summers in Island Falls, Me. at her favorite place "The Pond " where she grew up.

She also spent many Vacations at Sanibel Island with her husband David.

She loved picking as many shells as she could find.

There will be a Memorial Service on Tuesday Oct. 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care 2425 W. Havendale Blvd. Winter Haven ,FL.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
