Thomas "Tommy" Kelly

Thomas Ray Kelly went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2026. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Nascar racing. He was born on July 15, 1936, in Albertville, Alabama. Tommy worked for Ed Turner & Associates as a foreman in construction and then made that his life career. He retired from the Boilermakers Local 433 in Tampa, Fl. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he attended the Berea Baptist Church in Auburndale.

He married Doris (Sutton) Kelly on February 25, 1956, at their preacher's house in Auburndale and they were married for 70 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Leisa Kelly Nichols of Auburndale FL. Tommy also held a special place in his heart for his "grandchildren", Ashley, Kendra, and Kyra.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, John & Ebell Kelly; four sisters and five brothers.

Visitation will be from 10am to 11am Thursday May 28th at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven, FL with the funeral service immediately following the visitation. There will be a dinner after the cemetery service at the Berea Baptist Church 1407 US Hwy 92 W, Auburndale Fl.
