Terry Lee Beehler

It is with deep love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Beehler, who left us at the age of 72 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Ely, Nevada, she moved to Reno after graduation and began her professional journey in the casino industry, quickly moving from dealer to pit boss. She then followed a dream to become a registered nurse. She preferred the fast pace of the emergency room and later served as a charge nurse. Her compassion, steady leadership, and quick thinking made a lasting impact on both her patients and colleagues.

Her adventurous spirit eventually brought her back to the casino world, where she combined her experience and love of travel. Alongside her beloved husband, Wes, they helped open casinos in Las Vegas, Antigua in the West Indies, St. Louis, Nova Scotia, and Detroit. Together, they built not just a career, but a lifetime of shared experiences and stories.

She enjoyed camping, hiking, or a round of golf. She loved scuba diving and snorkeling, always eager to explore what lay beneath the surface. At home, she found joy in life's simple pleasures - building Legos, karaoke, cheering on her favorite baseball teams, and attending the activities of her grandkids. She cherished time spent traveling with family and friends. Whether near or far, those trips were her greatest joy.

A natural leader, she served as Secretary for the activities committee in her community, where she also taught water aerobics and led craft activities. She had a gift for bringing people together and turning the ordinary into something special.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ann and Mike Piscovich, her mother, Annabelle Finley, and her in-laws, Jim and Lou O'Dell. She is survived by her husband, Wes Beehler, her sister-in-law, Jo Ann Beehler-Young (Rick), a beautiful blended family of five kids, Monica Archuleta (Ruben), Jessie Key (Bobby), Kelli Lay (Leonard), Tony Beehler (Jasia), and Jake Beehler (Beth), grandchildren, Maddison, Riley, Quincey, Lily, Silas, Nolan, and Annabelle, and many more family members and friends that will miss her dearly. She leaves behind a legacy of spunky determination, wild love, and a life fully lived.

The family extends a huge thank you to the doctors, nurses, caregivers, and everyone who reached out with stories, love, and support for Terry in her valiant fight against cancer.
