Era Wall Johnson

Era Wall Johnson, 94, of 3204-A Regents Park Lane in Greensboro, NC went home to be with her Savior on July 21, 2026 after a long life of love and service.

Era was born in Randolph County to Winfield and Sarah Ellen Wall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Johnson; her brothers, Edgar, Arnold, and Byron Wall; and her sister, Marion Wall Amos.

She is survived by her sons; Jeff Johnson and Brad Johnson; her grandson, Cody Johnson; her granddaughter, Savanna Wilson; their mother, Marla Williams; her great-grandson, Jacob Johnson; and her great-granddaughter, Blakeleigh Mae Wilson.

Era was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in McLeansville, NC, where she was a member of the Caring Hearts Class. She was an avid reader, puzzle solver, kept up with current events, and loved cooking for her family and serving others.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Calvary Baptist Church building fund or to a charity of choice.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O. Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405 on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2:00PM with Pastor Josh Eller officiating.
