Maebelle L. Barton

Maebelle L. Barton, 88, of Randleman passed away on May 27, 2026 under the care of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Born in Robeson County, North Carolina on May 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Nancy (Chavis) Lowry and wife of the late John Farris.

Maebelle is survived by her daughter, Betty Bevis; her grandchildren, Valerie Jacobs, Christy Whiteside, Satrie Cross (Julian), and Dakota Bevis; her seven great-grandchildren; and her nine great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Samantha Bevis; her son-in-law, Mark Bevis; along with her six siblings.

The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel, 300 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27401 on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 11:00AM - 12:00PM. A graveside funeral service will follow at 12:30PM at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407.
