Abigail "Auden" Virginia Wells

Abigail “Auden” Virginia Wells, 21, of High Point, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 2, 2026.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service in Kernersville. The family will speak to friends following the service.

A native of Buffalo, Minnesota, but resided in Big Lake, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Terry Andrew Wells and Jody Barrett Nichols. Abigail was a member of the 2023 graduating class from East Forsyth High School. After graduation she furthered her education at Guilford Technical Community College. She enjoyed working as a barista at Starbucks. Abigail “Auden” enjoyed painting and drawing, shopping, and was taking on the task of learning the Japanese language.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Barrett and great-grandfather, Bernard Wells.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Terry A. Wells; mother, Jody Nichols; brother, Andrew Wells; sisters, Alyssa Wells and Amber Wells; brother-in-law, Jake Williams; grandmothers, Yvonne Barrett and Sherry Godby; grandfather, Terry C. Wells; great-grandmother, Virginia Wells; uncles, Scott Barrett, Jonathon Turner, and Charlie Wells; aunt, Tammy Turner; and a host of extended family members and friends.
