Alison Marie Chaney

Alison Marie Chaney, 49, of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Walnut Cove.

Born on February 15, 1977, in Forsyth County, North Carolina to Phillip McCray Chaney and Cathey Jewel Chaney (née Taylor). Alison attended East Forsyth High School.

Survivors include her children Ian Grubbs (Sanford, Florida), Sean Grubbs (Sanford, Florida), Keely Grubbs (Sanford, Florida), and Maddie Chaney (Walnut Cove, North Carolina); her brothers Anthony Chaney (Atlantic, North Carolina), and Matthew Chaney (Kernersville, North Carolina); nieces Tiffany Primus (Greensboro, North Carolina), Corie Goode (King, North Carolina), and Danica Stocksen (Concord, North Carolina); her father, Phillip Chaney (Walkertown, North Carolina); and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Cathey Jewel Chaney (née Taylor) (1955-2003); and her sister Angela Michelle Booth (née  Chaney) (1973-2025).
