In Loving Memory

Ms. Charlotte “Chris” Amber Jarvis, 88, of Kernersville passed away on January 23rd, 2026, under the care of Summerstone Health and Rehab in Kernersville. Chris was born in Brooks, Maine; she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Rebecca (Cookson) Pollard (and stepdaughter of Charles P. Davis) and wife of the late Donald E. Jarvis.

Chris loved Jesus and her family first. She sang Opera as a child; she loved to paint and crochet. She loved sharing with everyone about Jesus, her Savior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Chris is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Baltzer and husband, Kenton Baltzer; her sister, Patricia Cole and husband Greg Cole; her grandchildren, Nichole Butterfield, Anthony (Dickson) Herrejon, Aprill Moore, Robert Green, Bradley Brown, Sara Ochoa, Broch Baltzer, Brent Baltzer; her stepchildren, Rena Mays, Connie Heredia and Frank Heredia; her great-grandchildren, Kai Mana Bright, Makune Bright, Evan Ochoa, Isabella Marie Brown,  Anna Park Brown, Brandon Lee Brown, Zowi Johnson, and  Ana Rose Baltzer.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Anthony Phillip Dickson, Donna Fay Dickson, Baby William W. Powell, Michael Eugen Powell and Charles Ellis Powell.

The family will receive friends at Pierce Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W. Mountain St. Kernersville NC 27284 on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 10:00AM-11:00AM. A memorial service celebrating Charlotte's life will follow beginning at 11:00AM with Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating. A private interment will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
