Dawn Brown Jones

Dawn Brown Jones, 55, of Kernersville passed away on July 4, 2026 at her home. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Nuckles) Brown and wife of the late Carey Jones.

Dawn is survived by her son, Patrick Jones; her brother, Tyler Brown and his wife and son.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Brown.

The family will receive friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8940 W Market Street, Colfax, North Carolina 27235 on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10:00AM-10:45AM. A graveside service will follow in Colfax Memorial Gardens with Brother Ashton Sheets officiating.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to either ASPCA or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
