In Loving Memory

Mr. Earl Rayburn Day, Sr., 70, of Pacific, MO, passed away on September 18, 2025 under the care of Mountain Valley Hospice in Yadkinville, NC.  Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of the late Earl and Ethel (Sumner) Day and husband to Christina "Christy" Enochs Day.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Christy Day; his daughters, Charity Day Goff, and husband, Terry, and Christina Day Matlock and husband, Paul; his grandchildren, Thomas Russell Ellis of Winston-Salem, NC, Isaiah Kendall Matlock, Leah Taylor Matlock, Rebekah Paige Matlock and Adah Joy Matlock of Pacific, MO; his siblings, Darrell Raymond Day and wife, Pam; his nieces, Angie Atchley and Carrie Day Pauly; and his nephew, Joe Day.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Earl Rayburn Day, Jr..

Funeral services honoring Earl's life will be held at Midlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 7280 State Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084 on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 12:00PM. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM-12:00PM prior to the service. Interment will be in the cemetery following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Mountain Valley Hospice in Yadkinville, NC for their exceptional care of Earl.
