Eddie Elmer Pizzino

Eddie Elmer Pizzino, 53, of High Point, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on May 24th.

Eddie was born April 26, 1973, in Beckley, West Virginia. He was a 1991 graduate of Glen Rogers High School, Glen Rogers, WV. He was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

He was an expert colorist and stylist and was employed by Fabulous Cuts in King, NC, where he will be sadly missed by his employer and clients. He attended the Ward Avenue Church of God of Prophecy in High Point.

Eddie was always a caregiver and spent his life caring for those he knew and the stranger. He also had a compassionate heart for animals and spent much of his life rescuing and caring for them. He leaves behind four dogs and a cat. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially his trips to the beach and fishing. He will be remembered for his passion and love for his family, friends and the countless lives he touched.

Eddie is survived by his parents, Dale and Drema Pizzino of Kernersville, NC, a brother, Steven W. Pizzino and his wife, Mary, of Ludowici, Georgia, a sister-in-law, Cindy Pizzino of Asheboro, NC, a nephew Steven W. Pizzino Jr., of Georgia, a niece, Miranda Bell of Ludowici, five great-nephews, Grayson Pizzino, Nathan Bell, Hayden Bell, Henry Bell and Thomas Bell, a great-niece Korina Pizzino, Naomi Overby, who was like a daughter and a close dear friend, Billy Crouse of High Point. 

Eddie is preceded in death by his brother, Dale S. Pizzino Jr., and a great-nephew, Oliver S. Bell.

A graveside service will be held in August at the family cemetery in Saulsville, WV.
