Harold Lawrence Holznagel

Harold Lawrence Holznagel, 85, of Kernersville, North Carolina, passed away under the tentative care of Atrium Health Medical Center on May 1st, 2026. He was the son of the late Harry and Catherine (Schreiner) Holznagel.

Harold is survived by his brother Ronald Holznagel, stepson Daniel (Martha) Box, stepdaughter Peggy (Roy) Mrozinski, and many loving nieces and nephews including Virginia, Carole, Sharal, Kathleen, Julene, Russell (Susan), Jackie, Curtis, James (Susan), Craig, Tamaris, and Jon (Lisa).

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his caring wife Patricia Holznagel, sisters Harriet Schoene, Genevieve Holznagel, Shirley Whitecliff, brother Gerald Holznagel, sisters-in-law Judith Holznagel and Betty Holznagel, brothers-in-law Robert Schoene, Robert Whitecliff, and nephews Jeffrey Holznagel and Sonny Zander.

The family will hold a private gathering in Harold's honor.
